Un luogo unico.
The Frasassi Caves are a beautiful and magnificent underground complex extending to some 30 km – 1.5 km of which are open to the public. One of the most fascinating of environments they have been formed during the course of over a millennia by the slow drip of water over limestone – creating a strange and fantastic wonderland which includes Europe’s largest single cavern, big enough to comfortably accommodate Milan Cathedral. Situated in the province of Ancona, Le Marche and within the heart of the Gola della Rosa Nature Park, a visit to the caves is a unique experience.
No visitor could forget the beauty of a scene enhanced by theatrical lighting and formed by stalactites, stalagmites and lake of crystal clear water. The Frasassi Caves are to be found approximately 90 minutes from the Casale.
